New wheels coming tomorrow!

I have a new set of wheels for my EM1 Civic coming tomorrow! 
I love getting new wheels, but even more so when my current ones need a refurb! 16″ Rota Spec Rs with T1Rs… Good choice? What do you think?

Time to bite the bullet
So I have known my rear wheel bearings have been on their way for a while but this morning I got the car in the air and one side is pretty bad, the other isnt too bad but I’m getting both swapped next week…
I hate buying parts for a car thats up for sale!

I want a respray!
On Saturday night I went to a local spot to get some practise of low light photography in time for the South Mimms meet in a couple of weeks (see the thread on CL here – Civiclife South Mimms Honda Meet) and realise that my paint needs some mopping to rid it of the swirl marks and daily driver scratches that an 8.5 year old car picks up.
Dont get me wrong the paint is fine, but being a it of a perfectionist everytime I walk up to my car 3 marks really piss me off! On Saturday I walked up to my car in blazing sunshine for the 1st time this year and the swirl marks really caught my eye!
What colour should I go for if I decide to do it? Comment and give me your opinion (2000 EM1 Coupe)

Last night I was watching an excellent series of HD videos by wagenwerks.net (you should seriously check them out – and we need someone in the UK Honda scene to step up their game and reach this level!) This is the 1st video I stumbled across but there are so many that are worth watching… check out the vimeo channel here

Anyhow in one of the videos was a funky tune and then the credits at the end mentioned a name I hadnt heard before – Ronald Jenkees so I googled him and found his blog.
This dude is a genius! His improv skills have gotta be seen to be believed, and he embodies everything that I loved about music production when I was deeply into it a few years ago. In fact he inspired me to dust of my old gear and have a jam session last night – had mixed results but was all good fun.
Bought a track or two by Ronald last night as well but thought I’d share this video of him playing ‘Stay Crunchy’ (one of the track I bought). This track really hit the spot for me because I love a slightly crunchy production mind… Superb!

This blog just made it onto the WordPress fastest growing blog chart at #16!
That is in part to the huge exposure gained from Speedhunters publishing my DWYB photos and also due to my growing number of subscribers – so thanks to everyone who takes the time to read my ramblings!
Im looking to expand things further but at the moment my time it taken up re-designing from scratch my webshop, so check it out now so you can see the transformations before and after stage! The old site only lists Rota Wheels because I didnt see the point in investing any more time in the old design when the new ‘KICKASS’ TweakCulture V2.0 is on its way! V2.0 will have lots more brands of alloy wheels as well as suspension, brake pads and brake discs and many more awesome parts…

I have huge list of bookmarked forums that I check up on daily, with only a handful that I choose to post on (mainly due to a lack of time) but recently I was asked to join a new forum I thought I’d check it out and see what all the fuss was about.
JDM Rogues is a new forum that only has a couple of hundred members at the moment, but seems like a tight bunch that all get on without the usual flame wars associated with car specific forums. There is a huge mix of car owners signed up, with Skylines, Civics, AE86s and many more all getting along happily together.
Its worth checking out – and I just signed up to be a trader on there so a good chance for some easy discounts!
